Executive Functioning: Practical Tools for Helping Kids Become More Independent
September 30 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Executive functioning skills help children plan, get started, stay organized, manage emotions, adapt to change, and follow through. These skills develop over time, and the adults around children-at home, at school, and in community settings- play an important role in helping them grow. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore five core executive functioning skills and how they show up in everyday life, learn practical strategies to help children plan, get started, remember, adapt, and regulate, explore ways to create systems and supports that promote independence.
